When does a domain name become available?
When does a domain name become available?
When, or whether a domain name becomes available for you to claim depends on the current owner. If the owner fails to extend the domain name, it ends up in quarantine. When the quarantine period expires (usually 40 days), the domain name becomes available again.
Where do I find the required domain name information?
You can use ‘Who is’-information to find out whether a domain name is occupied, in quarantine or available. All domain name data can be found there: the current owner’s name, their contact information, and the status of the domain.
How to register a domain name when it becomes available?
If you are interested in an available domain name, you can choose to register it with a registrar of your choice. Don’t hesitate too long: someone might beat you to it!
